The former MMA athlete, Jorge Masvidal has talked in the past about how he learned most of the fighting in the streets, where he didn’t have any pads or gloves for the soft landings. Well, that’s what he had in mind when he started the Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA league. It’s the only league that lets the fighters compete against each other without any obstructions. And it’s completely inspired by Masvidal’s childhood in the streets of Miami, as per the Miami Herald.

So, the fifth event of the league is currently taking place, and Masvidal showed up at Mike Tyson‘s podcast, to promote the event further to the lesser-known audience. So, at the end of the podcast, when Masvidal was addressing his fans, something happened where Mike Tyson had to shut down his co-host immediately.

By the end of the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson‘s recent episode, the co-host of the show, DJ Whoo Kid, asked his guest to tell his fans about the latest Gamebred event coming up. So, Masvidal shared the news about his undercard and how the whole card is quite stacked with interesting fights throughout. He also stated that the event will be streaming live on all his official social media accounts.

After the promotion was done, Kid uttered, “There’s gonna be blood, blood, blood.” Well, this instantly blazed Tyson up, and he said, “The f**k you talking about blood. He’s got the kids, look at him. He look like a robot.” Then, DJ Whoo Kid instantly got the reference of the robotic boxing toys, named ‘Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots‘.

Whoo kid started laughing hysterically after this. Well, interestingly, a similar incident took place some minutes before in the same episode. There, Tyson again disproved his co-host’s statements about “guaranteed blood“.

At the start of the episode, Masvidal went on to explain the work behind the success of the Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA events. From that, the co-host went ahead and asked Mike Tyson whether he’d be down to do something like that. Tyson stated that he’ll say yes to anything if he’s paid an appropriate amount for it.

Then Kid proceeded to mention how Bareknuckle fights are more ruthless than usual, so Tyson stated that it’s all the same, since they’re all part of the “hurt business“. To this, Kid stated, “But that’s like guaranteed blood right there“. Tyson instantly disagreed by saying, “Nothing’s guaranteed. Somebody might get knocked out in eight seconds or something, nothing’s guaranteed.
