Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. are not allowed to knock each other out in their upcoming exhibition clash this weekend. However, Tyson’s former foe Kevin McBride wants to see the ‘Iron’ take out his opponent with a stoppage.

That said, McBride also wants to face Mike Tyson once more after he gets past Roy Jones Jr. He was the one to end Tyson’s career in 2005 and doesn’t mind repeating the same in a possible last clash. The former heavyweight boxer is 47 now, and looking at Tyson’s return at 54, he envisions himself inside the ring too.

Although he has billed it “sad” to end Tyson’s career, it remains as one of the biggest wins of the Irishman’s career. Kevin McBride connected with Sky Sports to reveal his intentions to fight ‘Iron’ for a second time.

Speaking about it, McBride said, “I’d like to see him (Tyson) knock Jones out then say: ‘I want to fight the last man to beat me! Of course, I would love to mix it up with Tyson again.“I would definitely give him a rematch and fight him again. I’d like an opportunity to finish the job.”

Mike Tyson tried to bite off Kevin McBride’s nipple

McBride touched upon the fact that Tyson tried to bite off his nipple during their fight in 2005. Thus, he claimed that he would be unsurprised if the heavyweight stalwart did something similar in his exhibition fight.

‘The Clones Colossus’ added, “It’s very strange, but Tyson is a mega-star, everybody is interested. He’s still dangerous. Everyone wants to know what type of fighter he will be. He tried to bite my nipple off so maybe he will try to bite Jones Jr’s nose off!”

He continued, “I don’t think it’s a good idea, no. But the thing about us fighters? We want to fight.”

McBride has also recalled the original fight. He shed light on the former champion’s power. Tyson shook him with a couple of big shots and appeared with a violent approach. However, McBride has claimed that he was ready with a response which ultimately saw him win the fight.

The Irishman said, “He hit so hard that I can still feel the punch today. He hit me to the body, and I felt something move on the other side. Then he hit me with a good right hand to the top of my head and I was seeing leprechauns for a while!”

He added, “He tried to break my arm. He tried to bite me. But I leaned on him, pushed him around, used my weight. I always think a big strong man will beat a small strong man”

Meanwhile, things have changed and exhibition clashes vow to avoid such intentions. So, even if McBride bags the rematch with Tyson, he might not be allowed to throw a big punch with a killer instinct.
