Jake Paul hit the headlines when he openly challenged the UFC legend, Conor McGregor for a fight. The Youtuber turned professional boxer, Jake Paul wants to take on McGregor in the octagon and not in the boxing ring. In the same vein, he also specified his reason for the same in his recent interview.

Both the athletes have ranted about each other on social media, which gives an idea that there might be a chance where we can see both of them facing each other in a fight.

Jake Paul approached Dana White frequently to sign him a fight against Conor McGregor. Moreover, he has also sought to fight ‘the notorious’ within the UFC rules in the octagon under any levied conditions.

In the latest podcast of The Journey, Paul describes his confidence to defeat McGregor. He also opens up about why he will restrict himself from fighting him in a boxing match.

When Paul was asked about his opinion on defeating Conor McGregor in boxing. Paul in an assertive approach says, “Yeah, easily as well and that’s just that’s even right now. You know, uh, catch, catch him two, three fights from now.”

“That it’s, it’s bad for him. You know he’s on the decline and drunk all the time, lost his motivation, doesn’t have a reason for why he’s fighting other than his ego.”

Jake talks about his positive mindset to dominate McGregor in the fight and supports it by describing McGregor’s recent approach to his life and the sport which will give him an advantage for his victory.

He also added, “And I’m getting better exponentially every single day so it’s bad for him any, anyway, he slices it and that’s why I say I’ ll fight in MMA because I don’t think he will take the fight in boxing.”

Paul justifies why even McGregor won’t accept a boxing match as Paul is improving day by day which McGregor might take into consideration.
