Daniel Dubois lines up Dillian Whyte for his next fight

Earlier in the summer, ‘Dynamite’ eyed a fight against ‘The Body Snatcher.’ However, he will fight Ricardo Snijders and Joe Joyce in the coming months. Despite having two bouts lined up, he still wants to square off against the former WBC interim champion.

He said, “I think Dillian Whyte, and me is a better option as Povetkin is back in the mandatory for a world title. So I feel Dillian that’s the more logical and I want that fight to happen. Maybe after Joe so we go wait and see.”

Whyte though is targeting a rematch against Povetkin as he aims to recapture his interim belt in December. He sent out a warning to the Russian, who received a grand welcome on his return home.

The heavyweight division is picking up and Dubois can remain in the eyes of the elite by winning regularly. It will be tough for Whyte to ignore ‘Dynamite’ should the latter win his next two fights and head into 2021 with a 16-0 record.
