In the current boxing universe, Jake Paul is no less than a cosmic brand. In no time, the YouTuber turned boxer garnered massive fame and attention and is showing so signs of slowing down. With his antics, Paul has struck everyone’s attention, including the bigwigs of boxing. Recently, the pound-for-pound boxing king, Canelo Alvarez, gave his take on ‘The Problem Child’.

In an interview alongside Fight Hub TV, Alvarez was asked whether he saw Jake Paul’s recent fight against Ben Askren.

To which he responded, “I didn’t see that fight. I saw the highlights, though. But look, there’s sunshine for everyone. That’s bringing a different audience to boxing, and that’s good for boxing. There’s sunshine for everyone. People who normally weren’t watching boxing are now watching boxing, and it’s good.”

Although a majority of fighters don’t enjoy Jake Paul‘s run in boxing, there are still many top-notch pugilists like Canelo Alvarez who have expressed words of wisdom for the young gun.

In his previous fight, Jake Paul battered the former UFC welterweight, Ben Askren, in just the first round of the clash. Prior to getting materialized, this bout already captivated everyone’s attention and subsequently, it stayed true to its hype.

‘The Problem Child’ hooked millions of fans for this fight, and this is principally why Alvarez feels such fights are good for boxing in general.
