‘These Are Very Big Names’: Global Titans CEO Shares Good News For Floyd Mayweather Fans

The crown prince of boxing, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is undoubtedly one of the greatest boxers of all time. Post his retirement, Mayweather made a name for himself with stellar performances in multiple exhibition bouts. If reports are to be believed, Mayweather might come out of retirement, to face his former rivals Manny Pacquiao or Conor McGregor, in a professional bout.
Mayweather is slowly becoming an iconic presence in the exhibition fight scene. He is currently set to face YouTuber Deji for yet another exhibition payday. Meanwhile, Global Titans CEO Uday Singh opened up about Mayweather and the upcoming fight. He said, “Floyd is super approachable. And he listens to the promoters and does what’s best for business. That’s what I like about him.”

Singh also mentioned that the Global Titans promotions have always had a good experience working with Mayweather. Global Titans are also in the talks about taking Mayweather on the road. Moreover, he will be paid eight figures every time he fights.
The Global Titans boss also mentioned that the company had plans to organize a ‘real’ fight with Mayweather. Talking about his opponents, Singh said, “These are very big names as we’ve had interest from a few people like Conor and Manny Pacquiao. In the meantime, all exhibition fights will have some sort of entertainment aspect to a real fight.”
Additionally, he also mentioned that the company also has a few interesting match-ups for Jake Paul in the cards.
The upcoming Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji showdown
Floyd Mayweather has in fact become the uncrowned king of the exhibition scene. And he was last seen in an impressive bout against Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura.

On September 15, 2022, it was reported that Mayweather will face YouTuber Deji Olatunji for a bout. Notably, Deji is the brother of YouTuber turned boxer, KSI. However, this decision divided boxing fans. The main reason for the same is, Deji recently had his first professional boxing victory. While Mayweather has an illustrious professional career with 50 professional victories to back him up.
