Former WBC welterweight world champion Tim Bradley Jr. has had his take on the Terence Crawford Vs Kell Brook fight. The 37-year-old reportedly spoke to Lance Pugmire before the fight and gave his opinion on those disrespecting it. The former champion said there is a lot to come from this fight and it will be a turning point for both fighters.

Lance Pugmire took to his Twitter to reveal the pre-fight conversation between the two. Bradley said, “If Crawford looks good in there, he will earn a lot of people’s respect because anybody counting Brook out, saying he’s washed and all that, they don’t know sh*t about boxing. I’m letting you know that right now.”

The former champion believes that it will not be an easy fight for Crawford; It will be a big statement if he can beat Brook.

Tim Bradley Jr also shed light on what would make the fight competitive. “It’s going to be competitive because of the styles. Kell Brook ain’t here for money. Do you understand what he can do with this? Kell Brook can be in a better position than Crawford if he takes the belt because he’s a free agent and he can go anywhere.”

The American said, “He can go and make that rematch with Spence. Spence will think, ‘I already (beat) you once, I can do it again.’ Kell Brook has a big name. He can (rematch) Porter. He already beat him.” Suggesting that this will have a big impact on both fighters’ next move.

The former champion added, “There’s a lot of upside for Brook, very little for Crawford. These are the situations you want a No. 1 fighter in: Everything to lose, and very little to gain beyond getting your belt back and a little bit of respect from the fans who say you’ve never fought a top welterweight.”

This is something that fans can agree with as one of the major criticisms that Crawford gets is that he has not fought any top welterweights. However, fans can look forward to seeing some big fights happening, provided that Crawford gets past a tough fight against Kell Brook. Thus, if Tim Bradley Jr.’s words are anything to go by, fans can not miss this fight.
