YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, and Hasim Rahman Jr. have been at a crossroads, ever since their fight was canceled. And now, Rahman Jr. is set to face former UFC superstar, Vitor Belfort. Meanwhile, he had a rather shocking statement to make about his former potential opponent, Paul.

Rahman Jr. will fight Belfort as a part of YouTuber KSI’s Misfits Boxing Promotions. It is also worth noting that the Misfits Boxing promotions have paved the way for some interesting matchups in recent times. Rahman Jr. who is currently in the training camp, was being interviewed by ‘The Schmo’.

In conversation, the interviewer asked him if he wishes to avenge Evander Holyfield’s loss at the hands of Belfort. And, in turn, also regain the lost glory of the boxing community. Rahman Jr. responded by saying, “In a way, for boxing. Yes, I feel like boxing is looking at me to go ahead and avenge that loss that we took as a sport against MMA.”

Moreover, he mentioned that it was more about showing that he was a better fighter than Paul. Rahman Jr. said, “But, more so, it’s more so about proving the point of why ‘Fake’ Paul was scared. He don’t want to fight Vitor. He declined. They put 30 million on the table for them to fight. He didn’t want to take that.”

Rahman Jr. also added that it will be a fight between two people Paul is scared of and is ducking.

Jake Paul challenges Mike Tyson

Jake Paul has been on a passionate quest for new opponents. However, it seems like he might have landed himself in soup with his latest fight callout.

Paul was at the pre-fight conference for his showdown against Anderson Silva. Talking about ‘Iron’ Mike challenging him on the Jimmy Kimmel show. He said, “Mike Tyson, that’d be crazy, yeah, and I have so much respect for him. He’s another one of my idols and I think he said he wanted to do the fight. Mike, where you at, bro?”

He also added that he really wishes to make the fight happen.
