The recent altercation between Ebanie Bridges and Shannon O’Connell had developed into a vendetta due to the buildup preceding it. It was a brutal struggle for dominance between the two as the former was a female boxing heartthrob and the latter was an experienced, aggressive fighter. On December 10th at Leeds’ First Direct Arena, the two boxers from Australia faced off in the ring. In the end, Bridges, who is frequently criticized for her fashion choices, triumphed with a commanding victory.

While talking about her recent victory, ‘The Blonde Bomber’ shared a video on Twitter and said that it was by far the best fight of her career. 

She further added, “And you know what, everyone looks at me and see the prettiness, they see the smiles, and they see the lingerie, and they see all of that. If my opponent, they just can’t fathom what it would feel like to actually, they can’t imagine or be prepared to mentally hit by me so hard, and so ferocious, because of the way I look.”

The fight started off well with both the combatants trying to outclass each other. But not too long into the fight, Bridges took a strong hit from O’Connell. But she bounced back like a champ and defeated O’Connell in round 8, successfully defending her IBF bantamweight title.

While talking about Bridges’ outfits, O’Connell had said, “I don’t know that I’d call her a beauty queen. More of a skanky stripper or something.” 

Following this, Bridges mentioned that she will make shirts that say, skanky stripper. “I wonder how you’re gonna explain that you got beat by a skanky stripper that doesn’t take the sport seriously?” Bridges added.
