Ryan Garcia and Oscar De La Hoya are going at it with each other. The promoter-fighter duo has been exchanging jabs after Garcia called ‘The Golden Boy’ out over the recent Gervonta Davis fight. After his loss to the Baltimore hard-hitter, the lightweight was at the post-fight press conference without his trainer and promoter. And, Garcia finally confronted the promoter for his absence. But, this confrontation is turning into an online feud between the two as the 50-year-old isn’t willing to remain silent as the young lightweight kept calling him out. And, recently the promoter slammed the 24-year-old over his recent remarks.

Oscar De La Hoya made a bold claim as Garcia called him out for not being there for him during and after the fight. In response to Garcia’s claims against him, Oscar tweeted to the lightweight star telling him to man up for his loss against Davis. De La Hoya claimed that the reason for the lightweight’s loss was ‘the rehydration clause’. And, it seems like the promoter believes that Garcia needs to own up to his losses.
Wtf @RyanGarcia it’s been almost two months and youre still crying about the post presser? The blame for your loss is on YOU and your “advisor”Lupe. He is the only one who pushed you to accept that INSANE rehydration clause and THAT is the reason you lost. Man up. Own that.

The reason for the beginning of this spree between the two is uncertain. Furthermore, De La Hoya also called out Garcia for his remarks claiming that Davis’ team showed him more support than his own. The 50-year-old tried painting a clear picture for Garcia.

Oscar De La Hoya claimed that the fight was a setup for ‘KingRy’ to lose with the installation of the rehydration clause. And he further took a jab at PBC promoter Al Haymon for not showing up at the event the whole week. Moreover, De La Hoya did not hesitate to bring out his sarcastic side and ended his tweet with “How’s that for support?”
Also, you keep saying “tanks team offered more support for you” blah blah blah. Bro they SET YOU UP TO LOSE with that rehydration clause and most importantly…AL HAYMON DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP THE ENTIRE WEEK. Actually, he NEVER shows up. How’s that for “support”???
