The Saudis are known for their extravagant concerts before the main event fights, a spectacle that doesn’t always sit well with fans. To make matters worse, when Tyson Fury arrived at the venue with just three fights left, it pushed many fans to the brink.

Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk: The wait

With each passing minute, frustration mounted as they anxiously wondered when the long-awaited showdown would finally take place. Some time ago, DAZN Boxing took to X, sharing a clip of Fury’s arrival at the Kingdom Arena, noting, “TYSON FURY IS IN THE HOUSE!!”

Interestingly, the ring walk for the fight will begin at 6 pm ET, though that could change based on the fights on the undercard and, of course, if there happens to be any performances before the fight. Regardless, despite some time left in the fight, people were quick to express their frustration in the comments of the post.

Fans grow increasingly restless

With the fight being one of the biggest attractions of the year, people quickly started complaining. One user wasn’t happy about Fury’s late arrival. “We are three fights away from the main event and he’s only just arrived? oh yeah this delay is going to be BRUTAL,” the user wrote. However, fighters are mostly given specific timings to arrive at the venue and Fury likely obeyed those timings.

However, the next user didn’t seem all that bothered about a potential delay. “That’s usually the case what are you on about,” the user wrote. Notably, most Saudi fights have a similar format, some people like it while others don’t.

Someone else exaggerated the time remaining. “3 fights? That’s atleast gonna take 7 hours in boxing,” the user wrote. However, it may take four more hours max.

Another user didn’t sound too happy about the musical performance before the main event. “Expect a full concert before the fight starts,” the user wrote. However, it’s unclear who is performing in the event.

Meanwhile, the next user seemed relieved. “Soooo I’m not missing much by being at work?” the user commented. The card itself lacks any major names besides a few, but the action in the undercard is undeniable.

That being said, it appears fans are quite ready to see Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk in action. Whether it starts soon is yet to be seen. Do you think the main event will get delayed?
