Tennis legend Martina Navratilova was not shy to take shots at former kickboxer turned controversial social media sensation, Andrew Tate, after replying to his viral tweet on Christmas. Tate has gained a lot of popularity over the past year mainly due to his edgy takes on sensitive topics.

However, this has also landed ‘Top G’ in a lot of trouble with him being banned from major social media platforms for a short time. Despite that, he doesn’t seem to be slowing down on his controversies after he was unbanned from twitter and made a surprising statement that drew some wild reactions.

Martina Navratilova replies to Andrew Tate’s tweet

Tate recently posted a tweet claiming that he was intellectually and physically superior to everyone around him. He added that he would also be ‘depressed’ if he would have had the same life as normal people. “You are poor. You are unimportant. Men do not fear you. Your woman disagrees with you. Your lives are sh*t. If I was forced to endure a year of your life it would be the worst level of depression imaginable,” he wrote.

However, one fan replied by stating that while he was poor, he lived a very fulfilling life. Moreover, he even detailed how he worked with special needs students who loved him and also had a caring wife and three daughters. This prompted the tennis legend to reply to Tate’s tweet with just one word. “Shade,” she wrote.

This was not all, As fans were also quick to jump on and call Tate out for his tweet.

One fan stated that anyone with life experience could see that Tate was the one who was actually depressed despite being rich and famous.

Lastly, one fan stated that the ‘poor’ person replying to Tate was the true ‘alpha male‘ instead of him.

The fans certainly felt strongly about Tate’s tweet and were quick to let it be known to the world as well. However, the former kickboxing champion is notorious for trolling everybody and it is hard to take his words very seriously.

Despite that, the tennis legend and fans were having none of his antics and also praised a fan who contradicted Tate’s statement in the best way possible.
