Former five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr, has had one of the most, if not the most, successful careers in professional boxing. Moreover, this impeccable fighting record has made him the richest boxer of all time, rightfully earning him the moniker, ‘Money’ Mayweather. After retiring from professional boxing in 2017, Mayweather went on to become the uncrowned king of the exhibition boxing scene. Meanwhile, he recently opened up about his plans to have an exhibition bout in the UK in 2023. And fans did not hold back from sharing their thoughts.

Mayweather was last seen facing Deji Olatunji at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, on November 13, 2022.
While there have been speculations about potential fights in store for Mayweather. It was reported that he wishes to fight in the UK. Talking about the same, he said, “A bout is planned in the UK for 2023. In February we’re looking forward to coming here and putting on an exhibition for the fans in the UK,” as reported by BoxingScene.
He stated that he wishes to do so because he has never fought in the country.
Mayweather further mentioned, “I want to continue to help this sport grow because without boxing I wouldn’t be where I’m at. But what’s also important to me is giving back to the sport of boxing .”
He also added that he wishes to fight for his fans in the UK.
