Luke Campbell will be the underdog when he sets foot inside the ring against the undefeated Ryan Garcia in November. With an impressive record of 20 wins and three losses, he is a daunting lightweight who has competed against the finest.

However, the 32-year-old is still to be tested against some of the best contemporaries.

While a fight against Garcia will determine who’s the better boxer, Eddie Hearn believes that ‘Cool Hand’ Campbell will vanquish the Golden Boy prodigy. Well, if that happens, Garcia will face the first loss of his career against an underdog in Campbell.

Eddie Hearn feels that Luke Campbell can defeat Ryan Garcia

Ryan Garcia has successfully bested all of his opponents up until now. Across his 20 professional wins, Garcia has picked up 17 Knockouts. However, he needs to do more to earn Eddie Hearn’s respect.

Talking about Ryan Garcia’s chances against Campbell, Hearn told DAZN, “I don’t think he beats Luke Campbell. This is a terrible terrible decision, but, maybe it’s a genius decision. We will find out in November.

“It’s a brilliant fight and I am excited for it because I really want Luke to win that fight. He is probably the lightweight that has been thrown in the toughest challenges to try and win a world title,” said Hearn.

Where and when will the duo collide?

The nail-biting event between two of the biggest A-listers is set to take place sometime in November. However, the final date hasn’t been announced officially.

The event can take place in either the UK or the United States. Now that promoters like Eddie Hearn have successfully organized PPV’s in their own backyard, it is safe to say that the location of the fight is not a major concern.
