Recent years have seen the crown prince of boxing, Floyd Mayweather Jr, embarking on a new quest. Post his retirement in 2017, Mayweather has been on a passionate pursuit of becoming the undisputed king of exhibition boxing. With three sensational performances that became a testament to his pugilistic prowess in 2022. The champ plans to have an explosive start to 2023, with a showdown against Geordie Shore star, Aaron Chalmers, on February 25. Meanwhile, he recently posted a sparring video from his training camp, and fans couldn’t keep calm.

Mayweather was initially scheduled to fight Muay Thai star, Liam Harrison. However, the fight did not materialize as Harrison had pull out of the fight. Notably, this fight was set to mark the champ’s UK debut. This was when Chalmers was chosen as his opponent.

The champ recently posted four videos of four rounds of his sparring practice. It is worth mentioning that his opponent was YouTuber, FaZe Jarvis. While Jarvis tried to get shots in, a majority of the rounds involved Mayweather toying around with him. And the Gargantuan skill difference was undoubtedly evident. Moreover, in one of the videos, Mayweather was even heard saying that he could go on for a hundred rounds.

Fans were surprised by the Floyd Mayweather vs FaZe Jarvis sparring session

Boxing fans were rather intrigued by the champ’s sparring session. In fact, a lot of them took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.

Mayweather’s bodyguard, Greg La Rosa, was quick to praise his boss. He said, “Almost 46yrs old and still doing it. Just another reminder of what the HATERS sounded like throughout his career.”

Leonard Ellerbe added, “Give this man his flowers NOW. Mastered the game in and out of the ring, best to ever do it.”

Similarly, Coach Prime mentioned, “This man is a Genius in the ring! Give him his roses and stop playing and being jealous of his business success.”

Rapper Chevy Woods, on the other hand, felt, “That jab is crazy fast.”

Meanwhile, a few fans called Mayweather out for toying around with Jarvis. Spinn Again said, “The Disrespect is outrageous.”

And, Mr.Bagfinnesor mentioned, “This is abuse gang.”

In the same vein, Tony Steele was a bit sterner with his words. He said, “Calls himself TBE but posts videos of him bullying an inexperienced boxer while showboating! It’s cringeworthy this!!!

DJ Clue, however, felt that Mayweather was being nice while sparring with Jarvis. And also mentioned that he has seen Mayweather’s sparring partners leave the ring bloody.
