‘This Is Destiny to Me’ – Tyron Woodley on Stepping In on Late Notice for Jake Paul Fight

Boxing fans will be on the edge of their seats this weekend to see Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley’s second collision come to life. A contest between these two abruptly came to fruition as the Briton Tommy Fury pulled out of the fight. Paul was apprehensive about facing Woodley after their first boxing meet. However, the ex-UFC elite was eager to get this bout.

Woodley even got a tattoo of Jake Paul in a quest to book this rematch. But ‘The Problem Child’ was chasing a fight with Tommy Fury, who later suffered a broken rib and chest infection, and had to eventually withdraw from the fight.

With this, Woodley got what he ultimately wanted. Recently, ‘The Chosen One’ chatted with the media ahead of his Saturday night bout. Here, he shed some light on taking this fight on short notice and more.

He said, “This ain’t late notice. This late notice is for y’all, this is late notice to them. This is destiny to me. I’ve already been ready, so you’ll see Saturday. He going to be the one huffing and puffing and running again.” 

After his last fight with Woodley, a lot of fans asserted on seeing Jake Paul take on pro-boxers. As a result, ‘The Problem Child’ already shared a rift with ‘TNT’ and his team rushed on to book this fight.

Nevertheless, Paul still has a worthy opponent in hand and with his above comments, it seems Woodley will walk into the ring desperate to settle the unfinished rivalry.
