Former five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. once ruled the roost as the greatest boxer of all time. And now, with his stellar performances has become the king of exhibition bouts. It was recently announced that Mayweather will have another exhibition bout in Dubai against KSI’s brother, Deji.

Recent times have seen Mayweather making it big in the exhibition fight scene, after retiring from the sport in 2017. He was recently seen in an exhibition fight with his former sparring partner, Don Moore. The fight at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Dubai also saw multiple notable names fighting as undercards.

Meanwhile, Mayweather also has another exhibition fight coming up on September 25, 2022. He will face MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

It was reported that a potential Mayweather vs Deji is in the works. And it is said that he will fight in the upcoming Misfits Boxing Cards in either October or November 2022.

If the fight takes place, Deji will enter the ring with a record of 1-3-0, which is a far cry from Mayweather’s stellar 50-0-0 record. Moreover, he was last seen in the ring on August 27, 2022, where he fought YouTuber Fousey, winning the bout by TKO.

It is also worth mentioning that Deji has previously faced notable names like Jake Paul and Alex Wassabi.

Fans were not too happy with a potential Floyd Mayweather vs Deji showdown

Boxing fans were not very excited about the prospect of Deji fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. In fact, fans shared their thoughts about the same on social media.

Many users were intrigued at Deji’s idea of stepping up from Fousey to face one of the greatest professional boxers of all time. Moreover, fans even felt like the fight was an insane idea, to begin with.

Meanwhile, user @OTCelly hilariously mentioned that Deji has decided to ‘get baptized’ after the very first win of his career.

Similarly, many other users also called Deji out for wishing to fight one of the best professional boxers of all time. In fact, user @maestroseason even asked him to not let his Fousey win blind him. And that he is not even in the list of top 10 YouTube boxers.

Meanwhile, a few users were sure that Deji would lose against Mayweather.

However, user @MichaelXBT felt that the potential fight was embarrassing for both Mayweather and Deji.
