In a display of community spirit, rising star Gervonta Davis has once again captured the hearts of fans. ‘Tank’ Davis recently announced his much anticipated yearly Thanksgiving giveaway.

Turning to Instagram, the Baltimore native announced his collaboration with the GTD Cares Foundation to give away food and winter coats on November 22. The giveaway will begin at 2 PM with the aim of feeding the less fortunate in the city. As the post started circulating on the platform, fans quickly found their way to the comment section, praising Davis’ efforts. 

Gervonta Davis: Example of the greatest champion

‘Tank’ Davis has a massive following on social media, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the heartwarming gesture from him went viral. The post saw over 29K likes and more than 400 comments commending Davis. 

One user asserted that the media won’t cover Davis’ generous action for the people of his city. “This what they won’t speak about tho,” the user wrote. 

Another user proclaimed their love for ‘Tank,’ thanking him for his generosity. The user commented, “Love you tank, thank you so much!” Someone else suggested this is what being a true champion is all about. “This is what it’s all about,” wrote the user.

The next user commended the Baltimore native for his community work. “Great community work,” the user wrote.

Only boxer that can beat ‘Tank’

The Baltimore native’s generosity isn’t the only thing that has the boxing world talking. Speculations about his return to the ring have also been the talk of the town. In a prior clip of ‘Tank’ on YouTube, Davis revealed the only fighter that can beat him. While most people would think it’s Shakur Stevenson or Devin Haney, the truth is furthest from that.

“You got the last one right – that’s the only person that could beat me, Gervonta Davis,” said Davis. Naming himself as the only possible boxer capable of defeating him, Davis claimed that nobody else is capable of accomplishing that. “That’s the only person. Those others cannot touch me at all,” said ‘Tank.’
