British middleweight Macaulay McGowan has Tyson Fury behind him, as the WBC heavyweight champion recently passed his support for the 25-year-old ahead of his title fight against Tursynbay Kulakhmet on November 11.
After a successful run of 14 undefeated contests, McGowan has his first title fight for the vacant WBC junior middleweight belt. He will encounter one-fight old Kulakhmet and will be looking for an easy win. That said, Tyson Fury wants the same, and he advises McGowan to bring the title to the UK.
Apart from being a fellow countryman, Fury also claims to know McGowan since his childhood. No wonder ‘The Gypsy King’ will cheer for him.

Fury recently turned to social media to support the middleweight sensation. He advised the young boxer to utilize his time and grab the belt.
In the short video, Fury said, “Hey this is Tyson Fury just like to say good luck to McCauley McGowan fighting for the WBC International title. I have known him since he has been a kid. This is your time now, McGowan. Go and smash him and bring that belt back to home too. All the best buddy, good luck. God bless you. Take it easy, peace out”
McGowan might lead the odds on a huge margin, but his upcoming opponent can still shock the charts. Boxing is an unpredictable sport, and it’s almost impossible to guarantee a possible outcome. However, the Briton has his fair chances of winning and he will appear in his best form.

McGowan’s nearing threat Tursynbay Kulakhmet has begun his pro career on a high note as he stopped his maiden opponent, Sagadat Rakhmankul, with a fourth-round RTD on August 23. In his second fight, he has the opportunity to become the WBC world champion, an opportunity none would likely miss. Therefore, he can bring a lot of complexities to McGowan.
The eight-round main event fight will take place at the Production Park Studios in Yorkshire, UK. It will be an important fight for both the title contenders.
