The WBC has officially approved a fight between Andy Ruiz Jr. and Deontay Wilder for the title eliminator. However, it is not mandatory. It depends upon the fighters, but fortunately, this fight is in line because both fighters are in talks for the contest.

Following the official order, the torchbearer of the Mexican heavyweight took to social media platforms and shared a video clip of his training session. He wrote, “Ready for whatever comes my way.”

In the clip, Ruiz Jr. appeared sharp on the mitts. According to fans, this is going to be the final title quest of Ruiz Jr. He is coming out of a close win against Ortiz in September.

The Mexican’s recent year has been filled with ups and downs. Since he lost the unified heavyweight title in a rematch against Anthony Joshua, his career has gone off track.

Ruiz Jr. had become a worldwide sensation when he knocked out Joshua as an underdog in June 2019. Unfortunately, it remained short-lived.
