The latest Top Rank Boxing event headlined by Jamel Herring and Jonathan Oquendo has already been graced by three big knockout wins, each knockout seemingly more significant than the last.

While Herring and Oquendo clashed in the main event, the supporting bouts had already mesmerized the fight fans, especially the junior flyweights- Jesse Rodriguez and Janiel Rivera. The back-to-back knockouts in the fight card made the anticipation of the headlining feature more intense.

All the knockouts happened in a devastating fashion, with different tools used for their materialization. Many have unanimously have cited Rodriguez’s KO as the most special.

Jesse Rodriguez vs Janiel Rivera (First round KO)

The fight was touted to go the distance. However, Rodriguez shut down his opponent in the very first round. That said, Rivera was the early aggressor and came straight with some threatening combinations.

He shot some overhand-left, and Rodriguez responded with body shots. However, the turning point was he got caught with a couple of big lefts. Rodriguez followed it up with some more shots and finally sealed the day with a TKO win over Rivera.

Jared Anderson vs Rodney Hernandez (TKO round 4)

The undefeated heavyweight. Jared Anderson secured another major win of his career as he took on a strong opponent in Rodney Hernandez.

The fight went till four rounds as Anderson made no mistake in planting his opponent to the canvas. However, the primary rounds were close. Rodney Hernandez appeared promising as he successfully chased down Anderson for some time and seemingly had him in trouble.

However, the undefeated prodigy had his plans cleared out. From the start of round four, he looked gory. Both the men exchanged punches. In the process, ‘Big Baby’ caught Hernandez with some heavy shots and claimed a KO win.

Ruben Cervera vs Rennard Oliver (KO round 2)

The bout was a technical showdown, with Ruben Cervara displaying sheer prominence of speed and power. After measuring his opponent in an intense first round, Cervara silenced all his critics in the second.

He chased down Oliver throughout the ring and changed pace often. Well. His right-hand combinations also came handy as they outpointed Oliver. Finally, in round two, Ruben Cervera secured a knockout. It was quite an intense sight to witness.
