Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the biggest celebrities in India. The Bollywood actor boasts of countless hits on the box-office, having earned a fortune entertaining the 1.2 billion Indians through his movies and shows.

Needless to say, Khan is a huge name in the foreign market and has a huge following around the world. However, Indian fans were shocked when they realized that former heavyweight kingpin and arguably one of the greatest boxers of all time, Mike Tyson had no clue about the actor.

On his first visit to India, Mike Tyson addressed a press conference in Mumbai. The former heavyweight champion revealed the real reason why he made the visit. He stated that he was not in the city to attend any parties.

“I am going to the slum, I am not going to no party,” Tyson said. The reply was made in response to the rumors that Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan was set to host Tyson at a grand party

However,  ‘Iron Mike‘ shot down any such possibility and revealed that the real reason he traveled all the way to India was to visit one of Asia’s largest slums Dharavi. He said, “I am a slumdog, I grew up in the slum. But I had that ambition that I wanted to get out of the slum… There’s nothing wrong with the slum. It’s just somebody to have bad times, you know. If they work hard, they can get out of the slum.”

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. goes down on November 21 inside Staples Center

Mike Tyson is set to make his boxing return against former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. inside Staples Center in California later this month on November 21. ‘Iron Mike’ has looked incredible in the lead-up to the bout. On the other side, Roy Jones Jr. is not far behind, who will be making his huge return after almost three years.

While Mike Tyson announced his retirement at 39, Jones Jr. continued to compete till his late-40s. Captain Hook’s last outing inside the ring came in February 2018, where he picked up an impressive unanimous decision win. ‘Iron Mike’s’ last outing came way back in 2005. If one looks at the age-factor and ring-rust, ‘RJ’ is the favorite going into the much-awaited bout.
