Canadian rapper Drake has been an avid supporter of combat sports for a long time now. Be it supporting Conor Mcgregor ahead of his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov or showering his appreciation for Anthony Joshua, Drake has proven time and again that he is a fan. But the rapper is rumored to be preparing for his boxing debut. Meanwhile, Eminem is a fan too. He once namedropped Nate Diaz in his track. Drake was rumored to be in a feud with Eminem, and the duo was also rumored to exchange punches in the ring without confirmation from both rappers. Recently, a video surfaced on the internet of Drake during a sparring session. And fans couldn’t hold back from commenting on Drake’s boxing skills. 

Drake’s sparring session receives attention

In the video posted by a user named thebreadbatchtbb on Instagram, Drake is seen sparring with his trainer. Drake is flexing his boxing skills while his trainer holds the pads for him. Drake’s speed is quite commendable in the video, and he is seen working hard. Eminem and Drake were rumored to have had a feud earlier. Ebro Darden ignited the rumors. But Drake took social media to address these rumors and said, “They are Telling lies.”

Eminem, who is known to have been sparring for years, was bound to act in Jake Gylennehal‘s ‘Southpaw,’ but the 8-mile star had to pull out due to his prior recording commitments. There are no confirmations from the side of both rappers regarding them getting in the ring anytime soon. But the fans would love to see these rapping tycoons exchange jabs with each other. 

Fans pour in reactions to Drake’s boxing video

Fans have unusual and mixed reactions to Drake’s sparring video. A fan thinks that Drake’s punches are soft and that he can’t harm his opponent with those punches. He said, “Drake throwing literal pillows.”

Another fan believes that Drake is under the impression that he is a good boxer and knows how to fight. “Drake looks like he thinks he’s good.”

One fan didn’t hold back in comparing Drake’s punches with his younger brother’s. “My little brother throws better punches than drake,” they said.

Another fan believes that if a fight between Drake and Eminem takes place, the American rapper will easily beat him. “Em would smoke him,” said the user.

Another user mentioned that despite being a top rapper, Drake has terrible form at boxing, and his body looks too stiff for a boxer. “Dude not box the man has no form he is stiff as hell, and he’s one of the top rappers LMAOOO man is LIGHT WORK,” they commented.
