Mike Tyson touched glory at a very young age when he became the youngest boxer to hold the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world. However, it came with its fair share of ups and downs in his personal life.

Tyson had a failed marriage and lived recklessly during his adult life outside of the ring. He was also accused of adultery in his second marriage with Monica Turner.

However, after going through what life had to offer, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ finds himself in peace. He feels that time has humbled him.

Tyson said, “My wife and kids, they can’t imagine me be in the house for this long. I would get up in the morning, I would leave the house at 9 in the morning, and I would come back at 9, the next morning. I was never those “house-husbands.” Time humbles you. You want to see your children grow. You want to see them evolve like, you want to see them have a great childhood like yourself.”

The former champion has credited his wife Lakiha Spicer fondly called ‘Kiki’ Tyson for helping him get back on track. Iron Mike has triumphed over drug addiction, to get back to where he is today.

It’s a lesson that everybody can learn from Iron Mike, that despite age, one can always work on his/her body and achieve fitness if they put in the work.
