Internet sensation and undefeated boxer Jake Paul had finally found a legitimate boxing bout against an active boxer in Tommy Fury. The undefeated British boxer is also the younger brother of the lineal and reigning WBC Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. This highly anticipated fight was probably the first occasion, where Paul was going head to head with an elite boxer.

The community has been long clamoring for the 24-year-old internet celebrity to face a legitimate boxer, instead of retired MMA fighters. However, it looks like this fight has fizzled out, as multiple reports suggest Tommy has suffered an injury.

Therefore, he will no longer be available to compete, and he might be replaced with Tyron Woodley. The former UFC Champion is stepping in on short notice to avenge his loss.

Jake Paul has indeed made a name for himself in boxing, but his resume doesn’t reflect the same. The undefeated boxer had not faced any proper boxers, and his bout against Tommy would have marked as his first outing.

According to Drama Alert’s founder and host, Keemstar, Tommy has pulled out of the contest and now Showtime is targeting a rematch with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.

This will mark as yet another bout, where Jake is the favorite to win. Tyron has been on a losing skid, which he simply cannot shake. Before exiting UFC, the MMA fighter lost 4 fights against top contenders of the welterweight division.

His last loss to Jake extended his losing spree to 5 losses in a row. Despite pushing the pace and sending Jake to the ropes, Tryon failed to showcase sufficient activity to claim victory.
