What did Tommy Fury say about the former world champions?

There is no doubt Fury proved everyone wrong by handing the 25-year-old Jake Paul his first loss. Especially because Paul was being hyped up as the favorite by some following his back-to-back wins over former MMA fighters like Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. With this win, Fury also shattered the perception of those who doubted him. In the close slugfest, he appeared to be a better boxer than Paul.

Following the fight, he agreed to Paul’s demand that they should have a rematch in the coming months. Before that Fury had to say a few things about the former world champions of boxing who doubted his skills inside the boxing ring.

“I’ll tell you what’s funny. It’s like all these former world champions they clearly don’t know ** about boxing. Because they called us the two novices. You can’t even fit between two novices. I told everybody, Tony Bellew, as well all those people that told me and said that ‘I couldn’t beat this man.’ Well, they’ve just got eggs all over their faces because at the end of the day. Me and my dad said it you know for all the build-up and it was an easy fight. I clearly outboxed him,” Fury said.

Next, he expressed his disagreement with the verdict of the fight. He believes it should have been a unanimous decision, instead of a split decision.
