Oleksandr Usyk’s former opponent, Tony Bellew, has spoken about the reality of the Ukrainian at heavyweight. The former WBC cruiserweight champion spoke about how underrated Usyk is, as a heavyweight; he admitted Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could cause him problems.

Usyk moved up to heavyweight after collecting all the belts at cruiserweight. However, many have questioned his ability in the heavier weight class. Bellew has now hit out at the criticisms.
Speaking to MHM Social on YouTube, he said the only thing that will beat Usyk is size. The scouser admitted that none of the heavyweights can out-box him or be a better fighter than him. However, he pointed out that he could beat everyone except the big two.
“I just think size will determine how he does in the heavyweight division. So, I think he beats everyone besides the two monsters [Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury], I really do,” said Bellew.
These claims will be put to the test if Usyk fights fellow heavyweight contender Joe Joyce. The duo is supposedly set to clash for the mandatory spot to fight Anthony Joshua.

Tony Bellew breaks down how Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua would beat Oleksandr Usyk
The Ukrainian’s victory over Dereck Chisora put him in pole position to take on ‘AJ’. However, since the Englishman will take on Fury for the undisputed championships, Usyk will have to wait to prove his point.
However, Bellew explained how Fury and Joshua would beat him. Of Fury, he said, “Someone of that size and of the frame of Tyson Fury, he can make it so difficult just by taking the center ring and bringing Oleksandr Usyk to him, which he would do.”

The former champion then said ‘AJ’ would chase Usyk around the ring and beat him. He claimed Joshua has the ability and athleticism to do that to a fighter like Usyk.
This has been an argument among heavyweight fans ever since the Ukrainian moved up in weight. However, fans will have to wait to get the answer to their doubts.
