After much rigmarole, Filip Hrgovic finally has a fight in line against Tony Yoka. Hrgovic was desperate to lock horns with a fellow heavyweight who could advance him for a fight against any top name. That said, the Croatian fighter now has a worthy challenger in hand, and the winner of this fight will lock horns with the unified champ, Oleksandr Usyk.
Usyk is in the most lucrative spot as he sits with the WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles. That said, both Hrgovic and Yoka will be eager to maximize this opportunity to possibly face the champ.

For now, Usyk is in contention to face the Brit Anthony Joshua in a rematch this year. ‘The Cat’ upset ‘AJ’ in September 2021 by beating him with a unanimous decision. However, Joshua triggered the rematch clause and now a fight between them is expected in the first half of 2022.
Till Usyk settles his feud with the Briton star, Hrgovic and Yoka will have the opportunity to roll out a sensational fight for the fans.
