WBC and lineal heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury dropped Daniel Kinahan as his advisor.
Daniel Kinahan is the owner of MTK Global and the alleged leader of the Kinahan Cartel, one of the largest drug traffickers in Ireland. The group is also famous for the 2015 gang war, which resulted in at least twenty deaths.
Kinahan has deep links in the combat sports world. From mixed martial arts to boxing, he has been in touch with some of the best athletes, including UFC star Darren Till, and boxer Tyson Fury.

The Irishman has played a key role in Fury’s life. He has been associated with the “Gypsy King” since his comeback. Recently, he got a deal done—in principle—between Anthony Joshua and Fury. When the latter thanked Kinahan for getting the job done, he received a ton of criticism from the fans and even Irish politician, Leo Varadkar.
Tyson Fury severs ties with Daniel Kinahan
In an exclusive interview, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum told ‘The Telegraph’ that Kinahan will no longer be negotiating fights for Fury.
“Over the weekend I’ve had a lot of conversations with Tyson Fury and what we both decided is that myself, Top Rank and Fury will do all negotiations for fights in the future.

Furthermore, Arum clarified that both, Fury and himself, respects and loves Kinahan. However, he said that the separation was done for Fury’s best interest.
“This will eliminate a lot of confusion, we’ve talked with Dan, who Tyson and I both love and admire and respect, and he understands that it’s best the negotiations on Tyson’s side be handled that way.

“Both Tyson and I have each discussed this with Dan and he is amenable and satisfied and wished us luck. He only wants the best for Tyson Fury.”
Finally, Arum stated that Top Rank will negotiate a deal with PBC for the Deontany Wilder trilogy. He is aiming to book Fury vs Wilder 3 in December with Texas or Nevada as the potential venue.
