Training Partner Reveals Insider Information From Floyd Mayweather’s Private Sparring Sessions

Floyd Mayweather is undoubtedly one of the greatest boxers of this generation. In an era of aggressive-styled fighters, Mayweather brought something new to the table with his elite defense game. That said, he bagged some stupendous boxing wins with his approach, going down as one true GOAT.

‘TBE’ hung up his gloves in 2017 from the pro-boxing mix. Despite that, he never let his love for the sport fade. Consequently, Mayweather keeps himself engaged with some rigorous boxing activities.

Recently, J’Hon Ingram, a sparring partner of Mayweather, spilled some insider information on the 44-year-old’s sparring sessions.

In a chat with FightHype, he said, “He definitely still lives up to the name. Because I’m not gonna lie, I was thinking since he was a little older I was gonna be able to push him a little more, but he still moves like he’s punched like he’s still in his 20s. His knowledge is still like his awareness and stuff. He’s still like in his 20s.”

Floyd Mayweather still showcases the same hunger in his sparring sessions. He also transfers his knowledge and prowess to young boxing young guns in the gym. On top of this, ‘Pretty Boy’ is a fan of exhibition bouts, and last year, he fought under the big lights against the YouTuber, Logan Paul.

In this collision, Mayweather failed to knock ‘The Maverick’ out. But he still showed composure and enough resilience to take the fight deep and keep a fine punching pace.

Will Floyd Mayweather fight again?

Floyd Mayweather is reported to take on his next exhibition bout on February 20. He is expected to collide with Money Kicks, a 20-year-old YouTuber from Dubai.
