Boxing’s biggest internet sensation, Ryan Garcia, has faced an enormous blow as far as his social media presence is concerned. The undefeated fighter has deleted his Twitter account after Twitter deleted some of his tweets. And he was not a happy man.

After weeks of using the social media platform to lash out at Gervonta Davis and others, Garcia has had to leave the platform. However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that he will still be active on his Instagram account.

Garcia broke the news on his Instagram story, which has since gone viral. “Man, Twitter did me dirty. I no longer have a Twitter account, so if you ever have a Twitter account that has my name on it, it’s not me,” said ‘KingRy’.

Garcia, who gained most popularity thanks to his social media platforms, then shouted out Instagram. He said it was the platform that treated everyone equally. He even made a sly dig at Twitter, saying nothing good came of it, anyway.

Ryan Garcia is focusing on his next fight

Despite Garcia having over 500,000 followers on the social media platform, he still said he chose not to be on the ‘toxic’ app. This is because Twitter deleted one of his Tweets where he thanked God and Jesus for his victory over Luke Campbell.

However, he reassured fans he is still firmly focused on his next fight and teased an announcement soon. “We’re headed to the gym, next fight is to be announced soon, let’s forget about all that toxic stuff.

“Hope everybody has a good day and god bless,” said Garcia. Which fans will hope is the Davis fight.

This is a surprising move from ‘The Flash’ who has previously embraced his tag of ‘Internet Boxer’. Only time will tell if this is a permanent decision or if Garcia will return to the app soon. However, there is no doubt he will still be active on his other platforms.
