Jake Paul, an advocate for higher pay for fighters, has called out UFC boss Dana White many a time, saying he underpays his fighters. In order to do something to prove that he was just not commenting on the same for a show, ‘The Problem Child’ took a bold step. Ahead of his fight against ‘The Chosen One’ Tyron Woodley, Jake Paul had claimed that he would pay fighters out of his own purse.

Well, Jake Paul put his money where his mouth is and gave all the fighters on his undercard a bonus. The money came out of his own purse. He gave bonuses to all the fighters except the two Britons, making their US debuts.

Tommy Fury refused to take the bonus from Jake Paul, probably owing to the bad blood between them. Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois also rejected the bonus for reasons that are unconfirmed at present.

This is not the first time Jake ‘The Problem Child’ Paul has given fighters money. Previously, Paul made headlines when he donated $5,000 to Sarah Alpar, who had set up a GoFundMe for her training costs. Paul selflessly donated $5,000 and gave her media attention. Within a few days, with all the media exposure, Alpar was able to raise $30,000.

For his own card against Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley, he insisted that Amanda Serrano vs Yamileth Mercado take co-main event precedence over the other fights.

“For this whole week, Amanda Serrano was saying that she was on the card,” Paul said at a press conference on Thursday. “That didn’t seem right to just be on the card.”I want to make her the co-main event. We talked to Showtime about it, and we’ve decided we’re making Amanda the co-main event. She’s deserving of that, she’s one of the greatest to ever do it.”
