Boxing is one of the most profitable sports in the world, with the biggest names in boxing earning millions per fight. The big paydays are also the reason why many celebrities and social media influencers like Jake Paul have gotten into the sport.

Jake Paul, the YouTuber turned boxer, got into the sport following his brother Logan’s footsteps. His controversial personality and trash-talking got him a deal with Showtime Boxing- one of the biggest names in the sport.

Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao, and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis are the boxers that have worked with Showtime. Jake Paul is their latest acquisition. Earlier this year Paul signed a multi-year, multi-fight deal with Showtime.

While certain states like Nevada, California, and Arizona are open to disclosing how much fighters will make, it is otherwise very secretive.

According to sportingfree.com, Jake ‘The Problem Child’ Paul will earn a guaranteed $1 million. His total payout will come out to be around $2 million after they add the PPV numbers. Tyron ‘The Chosen One’ Woodley, on the other hand, will reportedly earn $500,000 minimum. His total payout will add up to the millions once they calculate the PPV numbers.

Hence, both Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley are in line for the biggest payday of their careers, regardless of the outcome.

Tyron Woodley’s manager Malki Kawa told MMAFighting: “Yeah, he’s getting paid really well. It’s one of the best deals I’ve ever done for a guy in his situation. It’s a tremendous deal… He should walk away with a multi-million dollar payday. His base guarantee is in the millions already, but add on all the other extra stuff, it’s a really nice payday.”

Jake and his brother Logan Paul started the trend of YouTube boxing, which blew up. Companies like Triller jumped at this opportunity and started hosting Triller Fight Club cards. In his last fight with Triller, Jake earned a guaranteed $690,000. He also claimed the event sold over a million PPVs.

Tyron Woodley is a former UFC champion. His biggest payday saw him earn $590,000 in his fight against Darren Till in 2018.
