Tyson Fury entertained the boxing fans with his performance against Dillian Whyte. A few moments after his match, ‘The Gypsy King’ remembered his old rival, Deontay Wilder, and talked about his experience with him. While sitting with Top Rank’s Frank Arum, Fury unraveled the unknown side of his journey to the return to boxing.

In the course, Fury disclosed the story behind his first match against Wilder. Fury said, ” I said to Frank, you know what? Get me Wilder because I can’t do this. I’m either the best in the world or I’m not.”

Fury approached Frank Arum to sign him up for a match against Wilder, as he couldn’t wait to prove to the world his worth.

Moreover, Fury added, “I’ll, I’ll hold my hands up to this, I wasn’t ready for Deontay Wilder the first time. It was too quick..but we took it anyway cause I’m a fighting man, and I wanted to prove to the world that I’m back with a bang. We had a great fight over there.”

Tyson Fury admitted he wasn’t ready for the first time when he faced Wilder. But he managed to cope with Wilder and made it one of the most entertaining fights in the history of boxing.

However, the first encounter between Fury and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ resulted in a draw. Both the boxers were impatient to fight again.

In their first rematch, Fury shocked the world by stopping Wilder in the 7th round with a TKO. It was the first time Wilder had faced a loss in his career.

Consequently, it led to another match between the two heavyweights. Indeed, Fury delivered a similar result in their final fight.
