But recently, the two were accused of playing politics in boxing. Dennis Hobson, who’s one of the emerging promoters in the UK, took a dig at both Joshua and Fury.

Speaking to SecondsOut, he said, “Well, you’ve got Anthony Joshua and you’ve got Tyson Fury. They’re playing politics. The next group of fighters, guess who’s in it. For me, Kash Ali, he’s in that mix. Tell me you would do it. Do a number on Kash. I can’t tell you, and the great thing is Kash is with us.”

Hobson didn’t reveal a concrete reason as to why he accused Joshua and Fury of playing politics. But, in his above interview, he’s clearly boasting about how good a fighter Kash Ali is.

Ali is the IBF European heavyweight champ, and he’s looking to elevate his career by fighting the bigwigs of the division. He defended his title against Roman Gorst a day ago, and with that, he gained some attention around himself.

Also, with his promoter’s above comments on Joshua and Fury, Ali will undeniably be the center of attraction for the coming few days.

Will Kash Ali get his hands on Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury soon?

For now, the heavyweight landscape is a total mess and both Joshua and Fury have their fights lined up. Their upcoming bouts will open up the division for some high-voltage encounters, and fighters like Kash Ali might get a shot.
