Tyson Fury is currently in training for his trilogy fight against Deontay Wilder. The fight has had its share of drama. The bout was scheduled after Deontay Wilder won an arbitration hearing invoking the rematch clause in the contract from the last fight.

Tyson Fury’s dad is just like the champion, never afraid to voice his opinion, and brutally honest. Recently he spoke in an interview explaining what Tyson will need to do in order to win his fight.

“He’s out there and he’s not under the watchful eye, he’s around all these yes men when he gets out,” Fury’s father said.“Because when he gets off the plane in Las Vegas, you’ve got 200 yes men waiting for him looking to get that from him.”

John Fury stated that his son is not putting in the work that brought him to this level. He is not putting in the blood, sweat, and tears in the gym. Instead, he’s working the pads for 1 minute and talking to the media for 2 minutes.

He is confident that his son can beat the former champion Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder if he trains well for it. “I don’t want all them fake plastic pretenders around me,” John said.

“That’s what happens when you’re around me, get down that road; ‘What are you bringing to my son’s table?’ If it’s not relevant, you’re gone.” John Fury has been removing people from Tyson’s entourage to ensure there are no irrelevant ‘yes men’ who bring nothing to the table.
