Fury could have opted for his next opponent from an extensive list of A-listers in which Dillian Whyte was a prime persona. That said, Queensberry Promotions put on a lucrative $41 million purse bid to secure the fight between ‘The Gypsy King’ and ‘The Body Snatcher’. With an official confirmation on board, the WBC champion has now freshly lashed out at Whyte, labeling him a ‘coward’.

Tyson Fury recently took to his social media stories and blasted Whyte by saying, “This is a message for Dillian Whyte, white feathers, coward. Where are you white feathers? You wanted your world title shot for [Deontay] Wilder for three years. You never got it, you was about the trick for me for three minutes and you got your fight. Didn’t you? Coward.”

Having KOed, Deontay Wilder in his latest outing, Tyson Fury clearly sits at the throne of the heavyweight division. He will seemingly enter the scrap against Dillian Whyte as a favorite. However, Fury shall never sleep on Whyte’s knockout ability.

28-2 as a professional and WBC Interim champion, Whyte has 19 Knockouts under his name so far. Meanwhile, Deontay Wilder could feed Tyson Fury on the canvas twice in their trilogy clash. Whyte can sample that as his blueprint and unload haymakers against Fury. As it will be a heavyweight title clash, one punch can be enough to finish the fight.
Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte can be an interesting collision
Fury vs Whyte will ideally be a fight between a classic boxer and a puncher, which can go in favor of either side. Despite donning two losses in his career, Whyte has never shunned away from any challenges. Moreover, he has avenged his second loss against Alexander Povetkin in an immediate rematch via KO. Thus, Whyte has all the features to trouble any contender in the division.

If he can put them to display against Fury, ‘The Gypsy King’ can come across a tough time. But Whyte cannot let his champion rival take hold of the fight at any stage. Fury is a technical elite and possesses a great IQ. Thus, Whyte will have to come up with something unique to have his hands raised post-fight.
