The heavyweight feud between WBC champion Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder is unfinished, as the trilogy fight didn’t materialize yet. It is reported that the third fight isn’t happening this year since the contract has ended.
While Tyson Fury was always adamant about accepting the offer, Wilder’s team has clarified that he wanted more time, escaping the WBC title tale abruptly.
Thus, Fury is no longer interested in it and has vowed to fight any of the other heavyweights in December, especially if it’s the unified world champion, Anthony Joshua. However, that still doesn’t rule out Deontay Wilder from the mix.

The former WBC champion had been an elite title-holder before losing against Fury this year. So, he can run back for it, but it doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. Several people gave their opinion regarding the bout. Meanwhile, journalist Gareth Davies also shared his own.

Speaking on IFL TV, Davies said that Wilder has been silent throughout the build-up of the fight, which is true. Since his title loss in February, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has interacted little with the media. Moreover, he hasn’t posted too many happenings of his life on social media platforms.
Thus, Davies said, “He (Wilder) has been very quiet during this period. I mean, he hasn’t committed too much… Shelly Finkel and his co-managers do all the talking.”

However, Davies believes that it can also bring some ill-effects into the heavyweight title tale. He added, “There may be some repercussions to this, in my view. Kind of legally from Al Haymon and all those guys where they say Wilder had the right to a third fight, but they haven’t clearly been able to agree to the date or make it work.”
At the moment, Wilder doesn’t have an opponent, and Fury is being billed against several elites. The British heavyweight will appear in action in December, but not against Wilder.
