After a glorious victory over Deontay Wilder, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is back to work mode and can announce his next fight shortly. He is already in talks with several potential contenders and can announce his opponent anytime. ‘The Gypsy King’ has clarified, he will not face his teammate, Joseph Parker, with a similar reaction coming from Parker’s end. That said, Fury and WBO (Intercontinental) champion Parker are currently training together.
Tyson Fury went live on social media a few hours back on a post-training chat with Parker and his nutritionist George Lockhart. He shared several insights about his physical condition, training camp, and future plans.

The WBC champion said, “I am a little bit chubby as usual, never really been ripped. But I would say the training is going really well. I think this is my third week in training now. I have been teasing a lot of big news coming soon and we really do have some big news coming quite soon.”
Following a successful WBC title defense over Wilder in October 2021, Dillian Whyte should ideally be Fury’s next opponent, ‘The Body Snatcher’ holds the WBC Interim title and has been lurking over a world championship fight for several years. But Bob Arum and Frank Warren haven’t cited his chances of getting a shot at Tyson Fury.

According to Warren, Fury can return in March or April to take on either Andy Ruiz Jr. or Robert Helenius. Besides, the WBC champion has already flirted with the chances of him facing Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed fight. Thus, a lot can happen to Fury’s career from this juncture onwards.

An undisputed title fight between Fury and Usyk will be huge. But Oleksandr Usyk may have to surpass Anthony Joshua once again before he can opt for an undisputed clash.

Ngannou has reflected his interest in entering the boxing ring several times. That said, Tyson Fury agreed to meet him in what he tagged as ‘The Clash of Titans’. Ngannou will defend his UFC gold against Ciryl Gane in the next few hours. On gaining a win, he can aim towards facing Fury. Hence, it’s prominent that Tyson Fury is influencing the flow of the entire combat community.
