WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is still fresh in the active title race and is undoubtedly sitting on the throne of his division. Having beaten Deontay Wilder twice in a row, Fury’s next fight can see him go against a bigger underdog as the division is lacking to offer adequate challengers to ‘The Gypsy King’.
A few years back, several people saw Anthony Joshua as an antidote to Fury’s dominance. But after AJ’s losses against Andy Ruiz Jr. and Oleksandr Usyk, he also appears as an underdog before the mighty Tyson Fury. Well, 33-year-old Fury may not hang around for many more years, and if that happens, promoter Frank Warren has already predicted the WBC champion to become a trainer or manager.

In a chat with BBC Sport, Frank Warren shared views on Fury’s current position and ruled away the chances of him facing Joseph Parker. Meanwhile, the British promoter also pitched an idea on Fury’s life after he hangs up the gloves.
Warren said, “Tyson did well with him [for the Chisora fight]. Eventually I wouldn’t be surprised if Tyson becomes a coach. Boxing ends for everyone eventually and Tyson needs some interest in his life. I think he would be an excellent trainer or manager.” (H/T:- Boxing Scene)

Well, Fury still has a few more tests to compete, and we can see him topple the PPV records by then. He is looking to return in March or April, with the WBC title out of the scenario. While he also holds the Ring magazine belt, it will help him, bag contenders, from more directions.

Who can Tyson Fury face next?
‘The Gypsy King’ was in talks to face Dillian Whyte as the latter holds the WBC interim title. However, Whyte needs to come to terms with the financial demands.

If that doesn’t happen, Andy Ruiz Jr. can also slide in to face Fury. Meanwhile, the champion himself has desired to face current UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in a massive blockbuster event.

Fury is a superstar combatant and at this juncture, he can move in any direction at will. His name is already etched amongst the legendary heavyweight boxers. And the WBC champion can now press forward to bagging bigger paychecks in different kinds of matchups.
