WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury doesn’t want to miss out on his cousin’s upcoming fight against WBO European light heavyweight champion, Ricards Bolotniks, on MTK’s PPV this weekend.

Fury’s cousin Hosea Burton will challenge Bolotniks for the title and the duo will lock horns behind the closed doors at Studio 69. Tyson Fury will be present in the arena as he has already landed in Riga, the capital of Latvia.

That said, Fury will pass some important advice to his family, making sure he has all the chances against his Latvian rival. Although Hosea Burton boasts a much more impressive pro-record than Ricards Bolotniks, he cannot afford to underestimate Bolotkion’s power. Thus, Tyson Fury’s presence might give him the additional boost he requires.

Tyson Fury is always there for his family

MTK Global has officially revealed the news of Tyson Fury’s entry in Riga, sending the fight fans into a frenzy. Apart from being ‘The Hammer’s’ cousin, Fury is also the biggest name in modern-day boxing. Thus, his presence will always be beneficial for an event. Also, it will be alluring to see him ringside, as we receive some breathers between high-voltage action.

The fight will be streamed live on IFL TV. That said, the event will begin at 5:00 PM in the UK. Hosea Burton will enter the ring somewhere around 8 or 8:30 PM BST. If ‘The Hammer’ vanquishes Bolotniks, he will depart the arena with the WBO European light heavyweight title. No wonder he wouldn’t want to miss out on the opportunity, especially when his WBC champion cousin will be there.

Ricards Bolotniks (16-5-1) is riding a five-fight win streak. Although he hasn’t competed in 2020 yet, his sheer activeness in 2019 with four consecutive wins speaks for themselves. Thus, one can never write him off in a matchup.

Meanwhile, Hosea Burton (25-1) is on a seven-fight win streak. Coming off a loss to Frank Buglioni in 2016, ‘The Hammer’ has come a long way. He will look forward to continuing his dominance by adding the WBO title on his shoulder.
