On August 29, Tommy Fury fought in the USA for the very first time. He took on the renowned star from combat sports and entertainment vertical, Anthony Taylor, in a 4-round tussle. After much hard work, Fury finally got his win and thrilled his fans. Alongside his fans, Tommy Fury also allured his family, especially his elder brother, Tyson Fury.
Recently, ‘The Gypsy King’, in a chat with Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, shed some light on his brother’s US debut and more.
He said, “I thought it was fantastic, you know. I think all of his boxing now with the tik tokers, YouTubers, and famous people I think it’s all fantastic for the game and you know it’s bringing more eyes to the sport and everything’s going really well.”

“Tommy’s in his young professional career. I think he’s like what he’s had 6-7 fights now? Seven fights unbeaten. He’s doing fantastic, he’s making plenty of money, he’s traveling around the world in style, he’s influencing others to do the same. What’s not to like?”
‘TNT’ was an obvious favorite for his fight against Taylor, as he was the more experienced boxer. Given his boxing experience, many purists expected Fury to knock Taylor out inside two rounds. However, the latter didn’t let the Brit go all out against him and boxed until the final bell.
Can Tommy Fury become a boxing bigwig like Tyson Fury?
As ‘The Gypsy King’ said in his above interview, Tommy Fury is doing fantastic with his boxing stint and he still is a young gun. Those were telling words from a big personality.
