The WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has reached out to a young fan on Twitter in a heartwarming exchange. He posted a picture of 13-year Leroy Collins who can be seen sporting imagery of the champion on his leg. The prosthesis pays homage to ‘The Gypsy King’ truly encapsulating the massive fan following he has acquired.

Fury has been involved in out-reach throughout various junctions of his storied career, and this is yet another such instance. The 30-0-1 fighter has offered to pass along some signature gear to the young fan as a gesture of appreciation. The larger than life boxer has become a true fan favorite through various such altruistic actions.

Most notably he donated his entire fight purse to charity following a 2018 bout with Deontay Wilder. The decision came after Fury was stunned by the homelessness he saw throughout Los Angeles during promotion for the fight.  He also promised to donate his fight purse to UK charities to erect accommodations for the drug-addicted members of society.

He attributes much of his charitable enterprise to his own battle with addiction and depression. The orthodox boxer has spoken publically about giving back to the community after making his emphatic return to boxing.

Inside the ring, Tyson Fury has maintained an unmatched ferocity that has helped re-establish him to the top. After an uber-impressive stoppage victory over Deontay Wilder, he has now become the biggest star in the sport. The finish drew the first loss of the ‘The Bronze Bombers’ career and helped Fury secure a massive payday.

A trilogy bout down the road in 2020 will see the two megastar boxers duke it out. If the 31 fight veteran were to replicate his success, he is sure to secure a massive money fight against Anthony Joshua. The two countrymen are massive draws in the sport of boxing and they offer boxing fans a bout for the ages.

Tyson Fury has shown time and again to be an inspiring figure both in and out of the ring. Much anticipation surrounds the return of the lineal champion.
