Tyson Fury hails from a warrior family. His father, John Fury, was an acclaimed bare-knuckle fighter and a professional boxer.
However, while his career span in boxing was short-lived, he made the Fury name popular in the combat sports world much before Tyson Fury became a two-time heavyweight champion.
Now, to everyone’s surprise, John Fury is making a comeback after decades of inactivity. Recently, in an interview with Dev Sahni on The Unibet Lowdown, ‘The Gypsy King’ talked about his father and his return.

Most interestingly, he stated that he is eager to organize a fight for his father under his card on the same date at the same venue.
The 33-year-old legend said, “I’m trying to get John on the undercard, to be honest. We’re still working on that. Frank is working very hard behind the scenes, it’s not been announced but I’m just going to give you a little sneaky preview. Big John, trying to get him on the undercard. So yeah, don’t be surprised.”
Further, he dragged his rival and Dillian Whyte’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, into the conversation and added, “ No, My dad would chin Eddie Hearn in one round, within 30 seconds.”
Who will John Fury face?
According to Tyson Fury, there is uncertainty surrounding his father’s opponent and whether he will be able to fight at the undercard.
However, once the fight is confirmed, there are several opponents who will be willing to fight John Fury because of the buzz surrounding his return.
