The 30-0-1 boxer took to his Twitter to explain the reason behind his courage. Fury shared a video of him displaying incredible speed and movement and captioned the video with a bible verse, coincidently from the book of Joshua.

The caption read, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for Jehovah thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

This verse explains why Fury fears no man in the world and is something he has reiterated on multiple occasions.

When has Tyson Fury been fearless in his career?

These comments from the WBC champion showed he is a religious person. Moreover, this is not the first time he has displayed it. After he became the first man to beat Deontay Wilder, ‘The Gypsy King’ thanked God for the victory. 

The two-time heavyweight champion first showed his bravery when he took on heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko in his own backyard and beat him. Subsequently, he faced Deontay Wilder within two bouts of his return to the sport and drew.

The undefeated Brit did not leave it at a draw and came back to knock out Deontay Wilder in the rematch to become the heavyweight champion for the second time. Thus, this showed the elite mentality of the ‘The Gypsy King’.
