However, fans have criticized Fury for facing Chisora despite beating him two times in the past. This is the reason many feel that the Gypsy King is hindering his legacy by facing an opponent, clearly not on his level. Despite the criticism, Fury and his team are confident that this fight would be a great battle between the two British heavyweights. Moreover, Fury even addressed the criticism thrown towards him, even roping in Deontay Wilder in the process. In an interview with TalkSport Fury compared this trilogy with his three fights against Wilder. He stated that while he had beaten The Bronze Bomber three times, all their fights were great.

Well, you could say that about the Deontay Wilder [trilogy]. I’ve had three fights with Wilder and beat him three times, but all three fights were great fights.” said Fury.

Although, Fury thinks that his trilogy with Wilder could be compared to his trilogy with Del Boy. However, the difference in competition between the two is humongous. Fury was tested by Wilder in all three fights, which was certainly not the case with Chisora.

A fight against either would be a treat for boxing fans, who wanted Fury to face any of the two on December 3. However, a bout with Usyk will be his final goal if Fury wants to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.
