While Tyson Fury prepares for a professional comeback in the ring, his biggest fight might be happening outside of it, within his own family. After the fallout that happened from John Fury’s explosive rant, Fury’s brother decided to weigh in to set the record straight.

“When you’re doing something dangerous, and you’re getting well rewarded, crack on and do the best you can,” Tyson’s brother Shane Fury told IFL TV, “I speak to him every day, and he’s never had a bad day, never once had a bad day.
He’s training well and sparring well. I think he’s going to do well. No one knows until he gets in there but I think he’ll do well. He’s in a good place, he’s happy, and a happy fighter is a dangerous fighter,” he added.
For those unaware, Tyson Fury and his father, John Fury, have faced quite a significant fallout in their relationship. Following the former heavyweight champion’s two losses to Usyk, John reportedly opposed his legendary son’s return to the ring. However, the 37-year-old ended up breaking his fifth retirement and took the fight against Makhmudov.
For a moment, it might sound like a disagreement rather than a proper dispute. But John Fury went on an explosive rant against his son, claiming that Tyson is well past his prime after the Deontay Wilder trilogy, and even admitted, “My relationship with Tyson is destroyed.”
So, that clearly indicates their relationship has taken a hit. Meanwhile, Shane Fury, the former heavyweight champ’s brother, seems to be on good terms and has completely contradicted his father’s claim with a positive training update on Tyson.
However, it’s not just Tyson Fury’s brother who has shown faith in him. Even the prominent British promoter Eddie Hearn backed ‘The Gypsy King’ for a victory against Arslanbek Makhmudov. In that case, there’s some support behind the ex-heavyweight king to make a strong comeback.

Now, as the family rift continues to heat up, Tyson Fury’s promoter has stepped in and addressed the ongoing drama.
Frank Warren weighs in on John Fury vs Tyson Fury drama
Tyson Fury has spent most of his heavyweight career under Frank Warren’s Queensberry promotion, so they have built a strong connection over the years. However, when it comes to the British juggernaut’s ongoing dispute with his father, John Fury, Warren has remained balanced with his take.
From the get-go, the veteran promoter made it clear that he didn’t influence Tyson to come out of retirement and that it was fully the boxer’s decision to make a comeback. Still, Warren understands ‘The Gypsy King’s family’s concerns about him taking another fight.
“I never asked him to come back or encouraged him in any way because that has got to be his decision,” Warren told talkSPORT Boxing. “He is a very wealthy guy, financially, he is set up for life, probably ten lives under, but he wants to fight and he has been in the gym, he is in tremendous shape, and that is his decision.
I understand where his family is coming from and where his dad is coming from. However, it is Tyson’s decision, and if he is going to come back, he is fighting in a couple of weeks’ time, and I’d much rather he does it now than sits around for four or five years because his powers won’t be the same,” he added.
Well, as Tyson Fury is looking to make his comeback on April 11, do you think his win over Arslanbek Makhmudov would change the course of his relationship with John Fury? Let us know in the comments section below.
