However, ‘The Gypsy King’ has expressed his support for ‘Superb’ Saunders once again. The heavyweight legend took to social media and left an emotional message for the former WBO super middleweight champion.

Tyson Fury wrote, “people love to hate on others willing to chase their dreams. (Billy Joe Saunders) tried to be great last night! It wasn’t his night but at least he had the bottle to follow his dreams & heart, he will always be my bro we go back to 15/16, what a night to remember in 30 years dallas.”

Despite suffering a round eight RTD, Saunders seemingly revealed a lot of loopholes in Canelo Alvarez’s game. He troubled the Mexican elite in the primary stage of the fight and remained the aggressor. Adding to that, Saunders was also leading on the judges’ scorecards.
