The seven-month retirement had no impact on Fury’s charisma. Around 60,000 spectators came to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch the British Icon. Interestingly, Fury did not disappoint them. In cold weather, ‘The Gypsy King’ produced heat in the ring.

He did what he was expected to do. The sheer dominance over Chisora was proof that he was still he champ. He stepped inside the ring as a favorite and TKOed ‘Del Boy’ in the 10th round. With this win, he improved his record to 33-0 and put himself up for the potential undisputed heavyweight clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

The latter was present in the ringside to keep a close eye over his next opponent. Following the end of the match, he met Fury and had an intense face-off. While doing so, Fury opened his big interesting mouth and threatened Usyk.

He said, “Fifteen-stone little midget beat a bodybuilder. well I’m not a bodybuilder. I’ve already done one Ukrainian Klitschko and I’ll do you too gappy teeth. You ugly little man. Let’s get it on. You may laugh, but I will end you, you little s*cker. What are you going to do? You’re going to do nothing.”

Usyk gave no response to Fury but kept a sarcastic smile on his face, as if he was saying that he would settle this business in the ring.

Why did Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk fail to make the fight happen this year?

The 34-year-old tried his best to make the undisputed clash happen, but he failed. Right after Usyk’s win over Anthony Joshua in a rematch, he offered Usyk to fight. The latter turned it down as he was not ready to take such a big fight. He wanted to take some time before meeting Fury.
