Eddie Hearn is desirous of rolling out Fury vs Joshua with a full-fledged stadium attendance and measureless PPV buys. He felt if the fight was taking place in the UK, both the star heavyweights would get hit in their pockets.

His comments made it pretty clear that the fight would take place overseas to ensure that the duo could box in front of a crowd. Hearn said, “If the fight’s gonna take place in the UK, they’d have to take half what they could get. So that’s a tough conversation. And if we don’t know if we’re gonna get a crowd, we can’t even consider it in the UK.”

Anthony Joshua’s boxing bout saw a thousand fans marking themselves present for the event. This seemed to be a sign that fans would return for frequent events. But, considering the COVID-19 situation around the whole country, the government has put a halt on public gatherings once again.

How long will have to wait for Fury vs Joshua?

Both parties would want to delay the fight as much as possible to ensure that they can pack the maximum number of fans in the stadium. However, if the promoters and fighters decide on scheduling this bout with no in-stadium attendance, this fight can go on floors inside a couple of months.
